Job Description 

We are urgently seeking qualified EFL teachers to teach English to small groups of children of different ages and different levels. Apart from the YL classes, you might also teach general English to adults and exam preparation classes (Cambridge exams). The length of a lesson varies from 45 minutes to 90 minutes. AKCENT IH Prague is a high quality language school with a long tradition. Situated in a quiet residential area only 10 minutes away from the city centre. Our teachers work for the school with a self-employed status (full-time workload on average 26 45-minute units per week). The hourly rates range from 295 CZK - 350 CZK per each 45-minute unit taught or cancelled less than 24 hours before the lesson is due.

Our teachers are offered free Czech lessons (2 teaching hours per week), 50% reduction on other language courses, reduction of up to 70% for taking part on certificated teacher training courses (e.g. IHCYLT, Cambridge Delta). In addition, teachers are invited to participate in our in-house professional development programme (workshops and observations). Assistance with getting the business license and accommodation available.

Flights: The school contributes up to 5000 CZK to the incoming flight. 

Accommodation: We provide support with accommodation. 

Visa: We provide support with the necessary admin work (visa, business licence etc.).
